HGB Happenings & Celebrations
May/June 2005
On my very first visit (Feb. 18, 2005), I met
Dr. Ted Coy and had mentioned that I was short of breath.
I was told by other doctors previously that I needed to lose about 30 pounds
and then I would feel better. Dr. Coy told me the same thing, but then listened to
my heart and ran an EKG.
Numerous tests followed and on March 23, 2005, I was at Sparrow
Hospital having a cyst almost the size of a basketball removed from my chest
cavity by Dr. Gandhi, another wonderful doctor.
This cyst was attached to my heart sack, had crushed my left lung, and
moved my heart out of position. If it wouldn’t have been for Dr. Ted Coy taking this
extra step, I would have had a massive heart attack and nobody would have been
able to save me.
Words just cannot express the gratitude and appreciation that my wife and I have for Dr. Coy and
for Dr. Gandhi!
